
Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Adds October 18 Date at Lavonia Speedway
Ryan DelphOfficials with the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series are pleased to announce that an additional race has been added to the 2025 tour schedule on Saturday night, October 18 at Lavonia Speedway. The track’s ‘Hall of Fame Race’ is on tap that evening and the 602 Late Models will now compete for a $2,000 first place prize. The visit on October 18 will mark the second trip of the year for the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series to the historic Lavonia, Georgia facility, as Jay Coen topped a nineteen car field back on March 22.
With fifteen events already in the books in 2025, Justin Howard currently leads the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series point standings over Shaun Sise, Kevin Fisher, Griffin Smith, and Dawson Lowe. With the added show at Lavonia (GA) Speedway, there are currently six races left on the schedule for the remainder of the year. The final Championship points will be based on a driver’s best eighteen finishes.
