Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Drops 2026 Schedule & Announces Bolstered Point Fund
Ryan DelphOfficials with the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series are excited to release the 2026 schedule of events, which currently features twenty-three (23) shows at fourteen (14) different dirt venues across the states of Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The season officially kicks off with a pair of non-point races during the ‘Winter Freeze XVI’ extravaganza on February 6-7 at Screven Motor Speedway. The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series will make its inaugural visit to the Sylvania, Georgia facility this weekend, as a $2,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs on Friday night leading into Saturday’s $2,500 to win finale.
Venues that will host multiple series events in 2026 include Screven Motor Speedway, Senoia Raceway, I-75 Raceway, Laurens County Speedway, Lavonia Speedway, and North Georgia Speedway. Tracks that will be hosting a single Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series program this year include West Alabama Speedway, Buckshot Speedway, Travelers Rest Speedway, Sugar Creek Raceway, Toccoa Raceway, Harris Speedway, Hartwell Speedway, and Winder-Barrow Speedway.
Following the two non-point races at Screven Motor Speedway this weekend, the points chase will officially kick off on Saturday evening, February 28 at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia. A champion will then be crowned on Saturday, October 31 following a $4,000 to win grand finale at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia. This year’s point king will receive $5,000 out of a bolstered championship point fund!
The final 2026 Red Clay 602 Late Model Series point standings will be based on a driver's best SIXTEEN (16) races of the tour. Drivers can drop a 0-point total for a missed event, but can't drop a 0-point total for a disqualification. If the tour completes twenty (20) point races for example, there would be four (4) dropped races for each driver following the series finale to determine the point champion.

1. $5,000, 2. $3,000, 3. $2,000 & $1,000 to all other eligible drivers.
