Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Invades Sugar Creek Raceway Saturday Paying $3,000 to Win

Round four of the Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series will take place this Saturday night, April 5 at Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, Georgia! The 2025 version of the Risin’ of the Creek program will be held on Saturday and the 602 Late Models will headline the action-packed show paying $3,000 to the winner. Hunter Atkinson, of Clermont, Georgia, currently sits atop of the series point standings by 38 markers over Dawson Lowe and by 54 points over Justin Howard.

Joining the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series at Sugar Creek on Saturday will be the Limited Late Model, 604 Crate Late Model, Open Wheel Modified, Street Stock, Pony Stock, Front Wheel Drive, and Strictly Stock/Crown Vic divisions. Pit gates will open at 3:00pm, while the grandstands will start to allow patrons into the facility starting at 5:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 6:00pm and racing action will get underway at 7:30pm.

Admission into the grandstands will be $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids ages 11-15. Fence parking will be $25.00 plus general admission. Pit passes will be $40.00 for adults and $25.00 for kids ages 11-15. Children ages 10 and under will be admitted everywhere on the grounds for FREE. The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule for Sugar Creek will be Left Front: Open, Right Front: American Racer Pro 2, Left Rear: American Racer Pro 2, Right Rear: American Racer Pro 2, Pro 4. The entry fee will be $100.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
