Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Part of Dirt Invasion on Friday at Anderson Motor Speedway

On the heels of a successful doubleheader in the Peach State, which saw Shaun Sise and Dylan Beaver claim wins last weekend, the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series is set for round eighteen of the tour this Friday night, September 19.  Instead of slinging dirt, the 602 Late Models will rocket around the 3/8-mile asphalt oval at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, South Carolina.  As part of Dirt Invasion, the winner of the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series portion of the program will receive $1,500.

Joining the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series on the Dirt Invasion racing card will be the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series ($12,000 to win), Monster Thunder Bombers ($2,000 to win), Monster Mini Stocks ($2,000 to win), and Renegade Sportsmans ($1,000 to win).  The pits will open at 2:00pm and the grandstands will start to allow fans into the facility at 4:00pm.  Practice will get underway at 6:00pm and the drivers meeting will take place at 7:00pm.

Grandstand admission will be $30.00 for adults, while kids ages 10 and under will be admitted into the stands for FREE.  Trackside admission will be $35.00 for adults, while kids ages 10 and under will be admitted into the trackside area for FREE.  Pit admission will be $40.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids ages 6-10, and FREE for children ages 5 and under.  Tickets for Dirt Invasion can be purchased online at www.eventsprout.com/event/amr-sc-091925.

There will also be a practice session leading into Dirt Invasion on Thursday evening, September 18 to allow drivers and teams the opportunity to get acclimated to the asphalt racing surface.  The pits will open at 4:00pm and practice will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm.  Admission to practice will be $25.00 per person.  If you need more information or need to order tires, please call/text Ray Cook at 828-360-5353.

With seventeen events already in the books in 2025, Justin Howard currently leads the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series point standings over Shaun Sise, Kevin Fisher, Griffin Smith, and Dawson Lowe.  There are currently four races left on the 2025 schedule and the final Championship points will be based on the driver’s best eighteen finishes.
