Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Set to Sanction Richest 602 Race in Winder-Barrow Speedway History

The richest 602 Late Model event in Winder-Barrow Speedway history will take place this Saturday night, September 27 at the Winder, Georgia oval!  The Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series rolls into the Peach State on Saturday to preside over a $2,000 to win shootout.  In the first eighteen races of the tour this year, fifteen different winners have celebrated in victory lane.  Seymour, Tennessee ace Shaun Sise currently sits atop of the Red Clay Series point standings ahead of Justin Howard, Kevin Fisher, Griffin Smith, and Dawson Lowe.

Co-headlining the racing card at Winder-Barrow Speedway on Saturday will be the ‘James Foster Memorial’ race for the Limited Late Models, which will shell out a $5,000 first place prize.  Other divisions in action will be the Modified Street, Stock V8, Stock 4A, and Stock 4B classes.  The gates will open at 4:00pm and the drivers meeting is set for 7:00pm with racing to closely follow.

Adults will be admitted into the grandstands for $20.00, into the trackside area for $30.00, and into the pits for $40.00.  Winder-Barrow Speedway is located at 330 Dunahoo Road NE in Winder, Georgia. The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule for Winder-Barrow Speedway will be Left Front: Open, Right Front: American Racer Pro 2, Left Rear: American Racer Pro 2, Right Rear: American Racer Pro 2 or Pro 4.  The entry fee will be $80.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
